Real Experience. Real Insights.

Producer Real Talk was created by Ben (aka Priior), an electronic music producer who started from the same place as many artists today: learning production, finding his sound, and figuring out how to turn music into something bigger.

Producer Real Talk exists to share the lessons, experiments, and insights gained while building an artist project in real time.

Through testing different approaches to releases, promotion, branding, and creative decisions, Ben shares what works, what doesn't, and the challenges that many producers face on their own journey.

Over the past few years, Ben has grown from a complete beginner to over 3 million Spotify streams, with releases supported by labels, BBC Radio 1 plays, and SiriusXM Chill. Along the way, he has learned the challenges that come with building an artist project, from improving the music itself to developing a clear identity, releasing strategically, and connecting with listeners.
